The 2011 Oscars Receive Bad Reviews

Oscar Winners: Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Melissa Leo and Colin Firth

The reviews are in regarding the 2011 Oscars that took place in Los Angeles, California last night and they are not pretty. Since the site was not nominated for best blog, which really isn't a category, I decided to boycott the show (like I was invited anyway). A little bit of humor, there.

Poor Justin Bieber was the recipient of two uncomplimentary NME Awards. The teen pop singer was teased at the rock oriented awards program, launched by the magazine of the same name, as he was issued two gongs.

The first award was for "Worst Image" which I thought Britney Spears' weave was a shoe-in for. The second award was for "Worst Album." Poor thing. He's just a kid. Certainly you could have given those gongs to someone else. Hopefully, he will take it in stride.

The 24-year-old Born This Way singer appeared on KIIS FM's On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday morning and she told listeners she spent 72 hours in the egg. The problem: RadarOnline.com has discovered she had only 30 minutes of oxygen!...Gaga's rep was unavailable for comment.

CBS Reporter Has Malfunction At The Grammys

CBS News reporter, Serene Branson, had a malfunction at the 2011 Grammy Awards. While delivering her on location report to the station, she broke into gibberish no one could understand, leading some to speculate, the newscaster was having a stroke.

Don't worry, girl. Most music today makes no sense anyway. Case in point, the beginning of Lady Gaga's unoriginal "Bad Romance." I heard the beginning of the song and thought, "What is this chick saying. Is she on crack?" (according to Gaga, cocaine).
